What do the A, B and C race priorities mean?
Every race on your calendar can carry a priority, and the plan engine treats them very differently:
- A: the race the plan builds toward. It gets the full build, a proper taper and your peak shape. Normally one per season.
- B: an important tune-up. You race it seriously, but it gets a mini taper rather than a full one so the build toward your A race keeps moving.
- C: a training day with a bib. No taper, the result does not matter; it simply slots into the week like a workout.
You can also give a race a typed goal on its card: finish, a target time, pace or placement. Clock goals add a little more quality work in the plan, always inside the injury limits, and Trailwise checks how feasible the goal is against your recent training when it proposes a plan.
