How do I get a training plan?
Press Propose plan on the Agenda (you need a goal race on your calendar first). Trailwise builds a race-anchored plan: it counts back from race day with a taper, shapes the weeks by training phase, and fits the days and hours you can train. It generates in the background, with a Building indicator that stays put as you move around the app.
Before anything changes, a review opens with a week-by-week summary in kilometres, a comparison against your current plan, and a plain-language explanation from Trailwise, plus an honest feasibility verdict on whether the goal looks realistic. You then accept or decline. Prefer it hands-off? Turn on plan autonomy in your profile and Trailwise applies proposals for you.
Every plan includes strength and mobility sessions for injury resilience (these do not count toward your running volume), and can fold in bike or swim cross-training where it fits your discipline. If you have connected Google Calendar, accepted sessions are written there as events.
When you miss sessions or your readiness drops, Trailwise proposes a reflowed plan that starts from today. It also flags a busy day in your calendar or a hot day in the forecast and suggests swapping or going early, rather than silently moving your session.
