What does Load actually measure?

Load is Trailwise's own session load in a single unit, worked out from power, heart rate, hill-adjusted pace or effort, whichever your session actually supports, so a bike ride is not priced with a running threshold. On an activity you see that figure next to your watch's own number, labelled separately. Alongside the aerobic ramp there is a weight-bearing ramp, because running and hiking load your legs in a way cycling and swimming do not.
