How do I see and manage my sources?
Settings > Your data is a sortable ledger with one row per source you have actually connected: its status, when it last sent, which data streams it owns, and one action. Anything needing you floats to the top. Sources you have not connected sit behind a new connector button rather than filling the page. Each source has its own page for its own settings, and connecting happens there.
If two sources can both supply the same kind of data, say weight from both Withings and a Garmin import, Trailwise keeps one source as the owner of each stream so they never argue over the same numbers. You reassign a stream on the assignment matrix: pick a cell to make that source the owner of that stream, or use the column header to hand a source every stream it can supply. There is also a read-only list of the streams Trailwise holds, with a page per stream and a view showing where two sources disagree.
When you switch a stream to a new source, you choose what happens to your history:
- Keep existing data: the new source fills gaps and new readings; your old history stays.
- Replace all history: remove the old source's data for that stream and re-source it.
- Switch from a date: keep the old data before a date you pick, and let the new source own it from then on.
For provider-specific scores (like a vendor's own readiness number) Trailwise warns you that two brands calculate them differently, so the values will not line up across a switch.
