What does the Strava connection bring in?
Your Strava activities: the sport, distance, time, pace, heart rate, power and elevation, and the route where an activity has GPS. Trailwise keeps the exact sport type Strava records, such as a trail run, a virtual ride or a rowing session, instead of filing it under Other. New activities arrive soon after they reach Strava, because Strava tells Trailwise about them, and Sync now fetches straight away. Strava sends no sleep, HRV or other health data.
For now Strava lets only a small number of athletes connect to Trailwise. When that limit is reached, Strava shows its own error page instead of the connection; Intervals.icu or a file upload still works. Disconnecting Strava, or removing Trailwise in your Strava settings, deletes what Trailwise received from Strava within 30 days, and you get an email when it is done. To keep your Strava history as your own file, upload your Strava archive first (see Importing files).
