What does the Polar connection bring in?

Training sessions, sleep, Nightly Recharge (HRV and breathing rate), resting and all-day heart rate, daily steps, cardio load and VO2max. You choose which of these to share under Data types. Polar's standard connection shares mostly what you record from the day you connect, and route maps only for sessions from the last 30 days. Import full history brings in older sessions and readings; it asks for a separate permission on Polar's own page.

New sessions arrive soon after your watch syncs with Polar Flow, because Polar tells Trailwise about them. Polar's permission lasts about a year. When it runs out, the Polar card asks you to reconnect, and connecting again restores it. Disconnecting stops new data and removes Trailwise's access at Polar; what was already imported stays until you delete it.
